Summary
The Rotary disk dryer as an indirect-heating equipment has been used for drying the  industry sludge in the chemical , food, feed , dye industry and so on for decades ago.
Now it has developed into quite mature,  the market share is also very high in the international market.
 

☆The rotary disc dryer adopts indirect-heating and cooling for the material in paste ,granule ,powder and slurry state.The disc blade in the equipment has the characteristics of large heat transfer area and high heat transfer efficiency.
 

☆The main body of the rotary disk dryer consists of a cylindrical shell and a set of central-running- through- disks.The disk set is hollow.The heat medium flows through it, transferring heat to the material through the disk.The material passes between the disk and the shell, receiving the heat transmitted by the disk for the evaporation of water. the water vapor formed by the evaporation of the material water is carried out of the dryer by the hot air.
 

☆The rotary disk dryer has low dust flying during the operation with good safety.Each disc of the rotary disc dryer has both the left and right sides of heat transfer.
The heat transfer area is large,and with compact structure , small overall size, less auxiliary equipment, and the system is simple .

The material inside the dryer is wet state, in order to prevent the material sticking to the disk, there is a fixed longer scraper in the inner wall of the shell, extending to the gap between the disk, playing the role of mixing sludge and cleaning the disk;

Using low temperature heat source (180ºC) heating, the material on the disk will not overheat when parking;

Less required auxiliary air, and the tail gas treatment equipment is small;

The disc dryer can be applied to semi-drying process, but also to full drying process;

The Steam, heat conduction oil and so on heat transfer media can be used.
The site environment is very good.It has the advantages of low power consumption, stable operation, low noise and small labor quantity required .

Small environmental pollution:Use the air to take away the water vapor,the dust clips less,in this case , the tail air is very easy to treat it .For contaminated materials or materials requiring solvent recovery, it can choose closed circuit circulation system or vacuum rotary disc dryer to process them .
5. Low operating costs:if the equipment is running normally,  only one person can be  required to operate;the low rotation speed and the reasonable structure make the equipment wear less,in this case ,the Maintenance costs are small, and the maintenance costs are very low.
